Mission statement and terms of use

MISSION OF THIS SITE:

To contribute to improvements in the quality of life and health of patients with atrial fibrillation.
To help patients, their families and carers have a better understanding of atrial fibrillation.
All the recommendations in this site are in accordance with European Guidelines (see the European Society of Cardiology Practice Guidelines on Atrial Fibrillation here).

1.Terms of Use

The afibmatters.org website was developed under the direction of the European Heart Rhythm Association of the European Society of Cardiology (EHRA of the ESC). The European Heart Rhythm Association of the ESC is a registered branch of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC). Access to and use of this website is provided by the ESC subject to the following terms of use:

1. Your use of this website constitutes acceptance of these Terms of Use as at the date of your first use of the site.

2. The ESC reserves the right to change these Terms of Use at any time by posting changes online. Your continued use of this website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of this agreement as modified.
